Let’s Go To Summer Camp
Summer camp is the one thing that kids look forward to when summer comes. No school, just lots of screaming, jumping, running and having a blast with all of your friends. You’ve made sure your bag is packed, and your brand new sleeping bag is tucked away safely in the back of your parent’s van. Now it’s time to go pick up your friend Tommy from down the street. Once the two of you are snuggled into the back seat, it’s off to camp you go. I can imagine that parent’s, especially in recent months, are very thankful to the person that created carpooling. Not only does it save on gas, but it also allows for less confusion since the kids are entertaining themselves in the back seat. Summer camps this year are doing things a little differently. Instead of focusing on those things that involve gas-guzzling fun, camps are trying to gear their activities around more environmentally friendly activities. Such things such as mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking are all great for the environment, and they are also great for strengthening your little muscles. So kids, go, and have a blast because before you know it, school will be here for another year once again.
