Safety and environment
One thought I’ve had is wondering about whether lhd vehicles, left hand drive vehicles, are of the same safety as right hand drive vehicles. Most car manufacturers make both kinds of cars, to be sold in Europe or the US respectively. Therefore, I would think that the basic car makeup and safety in test crashes would be the same. But I wonder about the safety of driving on the left side of the road? Is there any difference? It is also worth noting that speed limits are also higher in Europe. But I’ve heard that they are very safe drivers with less crashes than in the US. Maybe one day I will take time to look that up!
