Plastics Training Being Done In Teams

A relatively new development in the plastics industry where employee training is concerned is that many companies have found providing plastics training to teams of employees increases its effectiveness.  Basically the concept is this: group together four or five employees as a team and set up a training curriculum for them. These employees then go through their training together.  If it is a computer-based training program, the employees go to the training room together and each sit at a different workstation to take their assigned training at the same time.  After the training session is completed, the employees spend about 30 minutes discussing what they have learned and ironing out any difficulties or areas of misunderstanding.  This has shown to increase employee retention of the training because the employees pay more attention during the lessons since they know they’ll be discussing the content with their peers afterwards.
