Project Management Consultant

Project management is a unique position within the business industry. It is a pointedly specific role within an organization that is time limited and for the sole purpose of accomplishing a certain goal, or project. The project management consultant is hired by a company for the sole purpose of developing the project plan and following it through to implementation and evaluation. Tasks of the consultant include: determining how goals will be accomplished and with what resources, developing associated project budgets and time lines, ensuring the goals are being carried out per plan and evaluating the success of the project. The consultant will offer support and maintenance to the project as needed.
