The Para Lawyer
My friend told me this story the other day about a man that lived in her building. Apparently, he moved here from out of state three months ago and starting working at a law firm as a lawyer. He had clients, and was extremely knowledgeable about law and legal cases. No one questioned him at all, until he was suddenly arrested for practicing law without a license. Oops. Apparently, he had been a paralegal who always wanted to be a lawyer, but never had enough money to go to law school. So, he decided to just do it anyway, poor guy.
