All of a sudden gyms proliferated all over the world. And this is because of a man who once envisioned himself as the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived. What Michael Jordan was to Basketball, Arnie was to bodybuilding. He won almost all the competitions he participated in and became the crowd favorite in every occasion. He is a success story that everyone can relate to.
He lived the American dream. Going to America with only $20 and little English, he was a virtually unknown. But all this changed when ‘The Olympian” turned the spotlight on the sport he so loved dearly. Arnie became the face of bodybuilding and became an instant celebrity in the process. Now retired from professional bodybuilding, Arnold is now busy governing California. Yet the ‘Arnold Schwarzenegger bodybuilding’ phenomenon will never be forgotten for generations to come.
