The definition of cellulite
The easiest thing to describe cellulite is a bumpy looking fat that appears on your skin. It’s not really a disease, but it’s a condition where the fat cells bulge and other factors come into the equation to cause the appearance of cellulite. Our body has three layers of fat and unfortunately cellulite is located closest to the skin. This condition happens because fat cells squeeze the collagen fibers, thus the lymphatic system does not have enough space to drain the buildup of fluids, fats, and toxins. Cellulite affects one’s appearance significantly and it is not easy to get rid of it because the fat does not respond well to exercise and diet.
