Alessandro Mendini the leading designer for Alessi
I have been a big fan of Alessi products for a few years now. Each year one of the designers, Alessandro Mendini , designs a limited edition range of corkscrews. Last year these included an angel, a devil, a ghost, a rock star and a king. The corkscrew are usually brightly coloured and have some extra features like the rock star had a removeable guitar. The range usually comes out in November or December but is usually announced in August or September. So I’m getting really excited to see what this year’s range is like but the only thing is I am now running out of space to display them all.
