Building Costs For A Loft Conversion
I am looking to utilise my roof space by building aloft conversion but am worried about the cost and the building regulations which would be involved in such a project. As I plan to do most of the actual work myself I should be able to keep the budget under control but I don’t know how the building regulations will affect my plans. For example, do I require planning permission for such a development or am I able to just go ahead and convert my loft as long as the work meets the standards required by the local councils building regulations?
