Our Victorian is Getting Hot
Last year, my family moved into an old Victorian home located in southern Tennessee. The house did not have air conditioning which didn’t bother us at first. However, as the middle of summer approached we starting feeling the heat on the second floor. It was too expensive for us to have the whole house set up for air, so decided to purchase a cheap portable air conditioner instead. What a difference on that floor. We now sleep much better at night, and we can tell the humidity has also lessened. This took care of our problem without breaking our already tight budget.
