Something is definitely wrong with this picture. My husband and I spent a fortune on hardwood floors, thinking that the cheaper ones would not provide the protective finish that we needed. We have kids, cats, and dogs. We installed our flooring, and within a few months, it looked as if it was as old as our house, which had belonged to my grandmother. My sister installed cheap hardwood flooring. She bought the cheapest stuff she could find. She too has kids, cats, and dogs. Our flooring looks horrible, and they were not cheap hardwood floors. My sister’s floors still look great.
