Fish Preparation Tips

Cooking what you have caught is the real prize of the day. How do you know how long to cook your fish? Over the years, the fish tips I have picked up have taught me this valuable rule. Measure your fish at the thickest part, then allow ten minutes of cooking time for every inch. This rule will apply no matter what cooking method you use. You can poach or fry, broil or grill and this rule will serve you well. Another helpful method to use when flavoring or marinating is to use a disposable plastic food storage bag. Once your marinating is over, you have no pan to wash!
