Memories at the Grand National

People over the years have very fond memories of arguably the greatest horse race of all time. The Grand National seems to conjure up a wealth of different stories like no other sports event does. Each year brings another host of memories and a wealth of new grand national tips for future racers. Some of the most distinctive memories seem to be related to Red Rum’s three victories, to the thousands of people stranded after the 1997 bomb scare, to Devon Loch’s mystery jump over a fence that wasn’t even there, and to the amazing fashion extravaganza of Ladies Day.
