Power line theft.
Our irrigation pump provides water to six different properties. Each of us have contributed to it’s installation and maintenance. A few weeks ago some wire thieves decided to cut out about 500 feet of our copper wire that provides power to the pump. To add insult to injury they came back a week later and cut out the remaining 20 feet of cable. We would now like to install outdoor wireless surveillance cameras at both ends of the line to photograph anyone that passes by. It probably will not stop them but the pictures could surely lead to identifying them.
