The City Blocks of New York

Some friends of mine recently took a trip to New York City and were telling me all about it. One thing I could not get over were the hotel prices. I’ve done a lot of traveling, but I have not been to a place where location made such a huge difference. I know it always costs more to be on the beach, but in this instance we’re talking about being in a city. It seemed like the best hotel rates in New York were dependent on the hotel’s street address. Having not been to the city myself, I was just amazed by how much difference a few blocks made.
